Carbon steering paddle grip

Firstly, the 425 pro is a great paddle.
I would like to suggest that a smoother style of grip wrap is used as the one provided is far too harsh for extended water sports and has torn my fingers to pieces. This is common from other paddlers in my area with your paddles. I prefer a grip wrap on my paddles, for grip and shaft protection, but your style is more suited for fishing rod handles. I wear fingerless gloves and my fingers above the first knuckle are destroyed, used the steering blade, and same with the person using the other paddle their whole hand was ripped apart (no gloves). I have had to cut grip wraps off. I have other paddles with a smoother grip and have no problems. Offering 2 options, textured or smooth, would be far better for customers.

The steerer is not just a rudder with this blade

A beautifully designed paddle. Lots of purchase on the water when paddle steering means steering can be done all through blade placement in the water while powering the boat forward and means the number 6 seat isn’t just a heavy rudder.
